The AccuPollen™ Allergy Tracker application is a free tool specially crafted to assist individuals affected by allergies. It targets allergy sufferers, particularly those sensitive to pollen that can trigger reactions in the eyes (allergic conjunctivitis), nose (allergic rhinitis), and skin (atopic dermatitis/eczema or hives), as well as those grappling with asthma. By offering detailed insights into various tree, grass, and weed pollen types, this app aids in establishing correlations between your allergies/asthma and the local pollen levels.
Through the app, users gain access to authentic pollen counts in their vicinity. The app sources data from 'Pollen Stations' nationwide, where pollen levels are monitored and uploaded to the central database. While it automatically links users to the nearest pollen station based on their location, users also have the flexibility to explore and view recent pollen counts across different stations on the map.
Marked as version 1.0 and currently in its nascent stages of development, the AccuPollen™ Allergy Tracker is continuously evolving with additional features in the pipeline. The overarching objective remains to deliver optimal support to those combating allergies induced by pollen. Valuing user feedback, the developers actively encourage suggestions and ideas for further enhancement.
The brainchild of Dr. Leonard Bielory—recognized as one of the nation’s notable medical practitioners by The New York Times—the AccuPollen™ Allergy Tracker is grounded in expertise.
